Our aim is to serve the local community and visitors to the town with books of all kinds. We have a large stock within the shop but if there is a title that you want we can order it in for you and usually it should be in within a day or so.

Getting the book you want is easy. Come in or ring up or use the link below - even if you don’t know the full title or the author’s name we can usually trace the book you want- just give us as much information as you have.

We can now offer a personalized book service where we can send any order of book direct to anywhere in the UK for a small fee.

In response to customer requests we are now stocking audio books and classical Naxos C.Ds Liz Hanson cards and ordnance survey maps.

Latimer Books have established themselves as a great little local bookshop. Run by Norman and Jane you know on first talking to them that here are two people who love books and  have unbounded enthusiasm for what they are doing.
